43.5% of Custodial Parents Receive the Full Amount of Child Support

According the Census Bureau’s latest findings on child support, 43.5% of custodial parents receive the full amount of child support. Out of 69.3% of custodial parents that is due to receive child support, only 43.5% reported receiving the full amount due. Highlights of this report include information on how many custodial parents had legal or informal child support agreements, aggregate amounts of child support, and averages of child support received in previous years.
