Download Instructions for KIDS COUNT Analysis Tools

Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure that all features of the Analysis Tools function properly. We recommend that you print these instructions.

PC Users

1. Right-click the download link and choose 'save target as' or 'save file as'
2. Select a location to save the file (e.g., desktop) and click 'save'
3. Double-click the saved file or open it with Excel
4. Excel will prompt you to 'enable' or 'disable' macros. You must choose to 'enable' macros in order to use all of the tools features. The macros will not harm your computer in any way.

Mac Users

1. While holding down the control button, click the download link and choose 'Download link to disk' or 'Open this link'
2. Select a location to save the file (e.g. desktop) and click 'save'
3. Double-click the saved file or open it with Excel
4. Excel will prompt you to 'enable' or 'disable' macros. You must choose to 'enable' macros in order to use all of the tools features. The macros will not harm your computer in any way.
