The new DataCounts! design is also intended to be more inviting to instructors who are interested in the project but not yet familiar with the tools offered by SSDAN.

Modules
Our modules will be a good place for newcomers to begin exploring ways of incorporating quantitative analysis into the classroom. Modules designed by professors from around the country are available as examples of how sociology courses can be strengthened by included numerical data into the course studies. Professors who have chosen to use SSDAN datasets and WebCHIP have found that their students get a better understanding of the course material and generally feel empowered by the experience.
