How to use WebCHIP!

New! WebCHIP Tutorial

Create Graphs

  1. Open the dataset in WebCHIP 2.0.
  2. First, a row variable and a column variable must be selected by creating a crosstabulation.
  3. Then, a Percent Across or Percent Down table must be created.  Each table will produce a different type of graph, so it is important to understand what the desired outcome might be.
  4. Once the table is created, select Table > type of graph.

4. Select Table > type of graph.

  1. There are four different types of graphs that can be created:
    • Bar Chart
    • Stacked Bar Chart
    • Pie Chart
      • Percent Across Table—WebCHIP will create a pie chart for each row variable.
      • Percent Down Table—WebCHIP will create a pie chart for each column variable.
    • Line Chart

  1. If a control variable is set, WebCHIP will output multiple tables for each category of the control variable.  The graphs may pop-up on top of each other, and may need to be moved around the screen to be displayed.
