DataCounts! Datasets

Census datasets can be accessed online using WebCHIP by selecting one of the buttons at left of your screen.

• Select "Search by Choosing Variables" to search for data by topic or geographic area. This option will take you to the Dataset Query Engine. When the dataset list loads, choose ‘download’ or ‘open with WebCHIP’ to access your chosen dataset.
  
  
• Select the "Browse by Year & Dataset Name" button if you already know the collection that contains your dataset. This option will take you to the WebCHIP Launcher.
  
  
• Select the "Enter Dataset by Name" button if you already know the complete file path for your chosen dataset. Click on Submit Query to load the dataset in WebCHIP.
