Goals: The goals of the course are to identify the dimensions, magnitude, and causes of a variety of social problems.
Evaluation Your course grade will be based on out-of-class writing assignments, computer exercises, and three exams (including the final exam). The out-of-class writing assignments will count for 15 percent of your course grade. The computer exercises will count for 10 percent of your course grade. Each exam will count for 25 percent of your class grade.
The first two exams will be in class on September 30 and November 4 and the final exam will be at 7:45-9:45AM (yuck!!!) on Tuesday, December 17.
I do give pluses and minuses on course grades.
