Downloading and Installing StudentCHIP

Windows Users

1. Complete and submit the SSDAN form


2. You will be prompted to begin the download
       (a) select "save to disk" and click "OK/Save"


3. Locate the file you downloaded "chip_win.exe"


4. Unzip the file by double-clicking (note the directory of the unzipped files)


5. Locate the unzipped directory (e.g., c:\unzipped\StudentCHIP)


6. Run the "Setup.exe" file by double-clicking and follow the prompts to install StudentCHIP


7. To start StudentCHIP, locate the "chip.exe" file (e.g., c:\program files\studentchip\CHIP.exe) and double-click

MAC Users

1. Complete and submit the download form


2. The software will download automatically in .sit format.


3. If your computer is not set up to automatically expand .sit files, you will need to expand the file using Stuffit Expander


4. Open the chip_mac folder and double click on the Student CHIP icon in order to start the program.
